Each year thousands of potential customers stream through the exhibits on four gymnasium levels and outdoors as well. These are potential customers looking to talk with the companies that sell and install products for the home and for better living.
It's a terrific way for businesses to "put names with faces" and create contacts that can turn into business relationships.
HOME SHOW HISTORY
The KONP Home Show started in 1982. In those days, just a handful of exhibitors filled the Vern Burton Center in Port Angeles. Tents were brought in to help accommodate the show as it expanded. After a couple of years, it was time to move the show to a much bigger venue. That's when the show moved to the Port Angeles High School gymnasium complex and tripled in size.
Now the show has become the largest exhibition of its kind on the Olympic Peninsula. The KONP Home Show is highlighted in numerous exhibition publications and draws tens of thousand of people over its annual two-day run.
